The Yuba River Inn was originally a piece of Gold Rush history when it was the Devine Family Farm in the 1800s, supplying local miners with food. It was later established as the inn with cabin rentals, and in the 1960s, it even became a favorite spot for many famous movie stars, authors and songwriters who came to escape the city and pursue their creativity at the inn’s peaceful sanctuary.

While there are an almost endless array of recreational and sight-seeing options near the inn, there is so much to explore and enjoy right here on our diverse 20-acre riverfront property. From a wide variety of hiking trails over diverse forested terrain, deep emerald river pools for fishing and panning for gold, to the wonderful Wild Plum Cafe and Provisions Store and a large barbecue and dining deck overlooking the Yuba River, there is much to enjoy right here on site between your exciting off-site adventures!
